How does chiropractic help neck pain, leg pain, migraines, etc?

To some, the variety of health issues helped with chiropractic care doesnít make sense. But when we get down to it, chiropractic is simple. Chiropractic is based on a very simple health concept called "The Safety Pin Cycle". First, the brain and nervous system control nearly every activity in the body from muscle and joint mobility to stomach acid production. Secondly, if a nerve is pinched that leads to the body's various muscles, glands, and organs it will interfere with the normal function of that organ or muscle, and thirdly, specific chiropractic adjustments relieve the nerve interference or pinch and allows the muscle, joint, organ, or gland to function normally again. This is why neck and back pain, arm and leg pain, numbness, headaches and many other conditions respond to chiropractic care. When the spine and nervous system is in balance, your body is in balance.

Migraines: A Natural Approach

migrainesIn our last newsletter I wrote about migraines because a long time patient had asked me if we can do anything for migraines. Of course my answer was ìyesî and it still is. Let me share a story about a recent case. This person had several migraines per week, for years. She hesitated to make social plans, and dreaded having to go to work with a migraine or worse rescheduling her work day, again. With one month under care the migraines were less often and less severe. At that point, she had a 14 day stretch with no headache! She is continuing to live better with only occasional mild headaches with less than two months of care. Her life has changed dramatically. She is sleeping better. She can confidently do her best at work, and plan her social time without worries of her headaches slowing her down.

Tired of living with migraines? The days off of work? The medication? Give us a try. You will be glad you did.
